Biscuits
Ingredients 5-1/2 cups whole wheat flour 1-1/2 cups of chicken broth 1/2 cup warm water 1 egg 3 tablespoons honey 2 teaspoons dry yeast 2 tablespoons dried parsley 1 tablespoon minced garlic Preheat oven to 350 F. In a large bowl, disolve yeast in warm water. Add parsley, garlic, broth, egg and honey. Slowly mix in flour. On a well floured surface knead dough for about 4 minutes. Roll out dough to a 1/4 inch thickness. Cut dough with knives or cookie cutters. Place on cookie sheet (spacing about 1/4 in apart) Bake for 30 minutes. Flip biscuits and bake for additional 15 minutes. Let cool overnight. Store in an airtight container. |
